Microsoft xbox 360 headset not working
Thanks for your feedback. After trying the Xbox Adapter on a couple of different laptops and desktops and seeing it works plug-and-play with no issues whatsoever and knowing that it did work on my Dell G5 up to a point, I am really running out of ideas on what to try What I find most unusual is that the adapter is recognized by Windows, it blinks when I press the pairing button and everything seems to be ok, but it still doesn't connect to either one of my 2 Xbox controllers or my LucidSound LS35X headphones, all three of which work perfectly on the Xbox console and on other devices using the adapter.
It seems absurd but I am thinking of trying to reinstall Windows and hope that will fix it. I've avoided doing this so far because absolutely everything works perfect, so I would only be doing it because of this specific issue. Hey everyone, I feel like I'm going mad This may be the last thing I post before my head explodes It is recognized by my laptop as "Xbox Wireless Adapter" so it's not the Xbox ACC issue , the light flashes, but I can't pair it with any Xbox controller and headset, even though it worked perfectly when I got it, and it still works on other devices I have, so it's definitely not a hardware issue.
I have searched for the issue online extensively and tried all of the fixes from these forums and others. This thread is locked. Hi, Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
Method 1: Check if the device is allowed to wake the computer to work. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run. In Run dialog box, type devmgmt. Now expand the Network adapters in the window.
Now select the Power Management tab. Check the box Allow this device to wake the computer. Click on OK.
Method 2: Uninstall the drivers completely and install them again. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I bought a brand new system every head set I buy and plug into the controller the other players say they hear a static sound I tried lowering the volume that does not work is it the controller itself.
